This 24 tile Oak Tree and roots panel is hand made, its design inspired from the trees along the banks of Loch Lomond.

The Oak tree design is hand drawn using liquid latex onto hand made tiles, Raku glaze is applied and latex removed leaving a bare clay design. They are then fired in a Raku kiln, removed whilst still hot and smoked in a sawdust pit leaving a stunning black and off white smoked crazed finish. The design makes a bold statement above a stove or fireplace, with no two tiles alike.

Each tile size is 14cm x 14cm
Whole panel size 84cm H x 56cm L, pre-grouting.
